Sven Nebelung is a freelance video producer and production manager based in New York, NY and Santa Barbara, CA. His broadcast projects include multi-camera music and entertainment shows (Great Performances, Liza's At The Palace, Johnny Mathis – Wonderful, Wonderful, Judy Collins – Live at Wolf Trap, International Emmies 1999), documentaries (Oscar Hammerstein II, Reluctant Saint) and PBS specials (Eating Well For Optimum Health with Dr. Andrew Weil, Get Healthy Now! with Gary Null). He has also produced many high-end industrials including Upfronts for TV Land, Nick@Nite and FOX News, as well as HD and SD videos for Sony Electronics, IBM and Pfizer.
Since 1997 he has been in charge of all aspects of production and post-production. His responsibilities range from budgeting, tracking and actualizing of budgets, to client management, writing, pre-production planning and directing of shoots, to talent coordination, location management, hiring of crews and rental of equipment.
He holds a MA in Media Studies from The New School for Social Research in New York, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Cologne, Germany, and is the Co-Editor of German Essays in Psychology for The German Library.
Time permitting, he tries to master as many watersport activities that include the word “surf” as possible.
